Woman praised for breaking up a Planned Parenthood protest by shouting 'yeast infections!' and carrying a sign thanking the organization for helping with her problems

A resourceful woman broke up a protest outside a Planned Parenthood building by chanting 'yeast infections' and carrying a cardboard sign thanking the non-profit organization for 'helping' her with the chronic issue - even after a man called her 'whore'.
Mary Numair, 29, from Portland, Oregon, was working at Purringtons Cat Lounge on Sunday when she saw a woman carrying a sign outside Planned Parenthood that read: 'Abortion Kills Children.' Mary sprung into action and created a sign of her own out of masking tape and a piece of cardboard that she found in the dumpster, before starting her own counter-protest.
'They do so much beyond abortions. I’m very much pro-choice, but if you want to take it beyond pro-choice and pro-life, there are… all these other things that are uncomfortable to talk about and [get treated if] you don’t want to wait two weeks to see your primary doctor or you don’t have health insurance,' she explained to Slate

'Dear P.P., Thanks for helping with my yeast infections!' she wrote on the sign.
Mary explained that before ObamaCare, she was unable to obtain health insurance because of a pre-existing condition, and she relied on treatment at the local Planned Parenthood in her hometown of Everett, Washington to help sort out her medical problems.
It was there that she received birth control and medication for her chronic yeast infections.
'They’re also the ones who so graciously informed me, after I freaked out after losing my virginity, that I had a latex allergy and there was no reason to panic,' she added.
Mary said she had no idea why she started enthusiastically chanting, 'Yeast infections!' and doing high kicks, but her methods proved to be effective.

While most passerby honked or gave her thumbs up in support, one man did call her a 'whore' when she walked out there, but Mary kept chanting.
The Planned Parenthood supporter boldly asked if one of the protester's children knew about yeast infections, and a religious leader led the protesters in a prayer circle on Mary's behalf - but she only got louder.
The protesters went from spread out to huddled together to abandoning their cause within a half hour of her counter-protest.
Mary said she had never seen protesters at that Planned Parenthood before, but she believes the recent uproar over the organization's fetal tissue programs may have inspired the protesters.

After the protest, Mary proudly took to Twitter to reveal what she had done and share photos of her sign.
'Hey I just single handedly broke up a planned parenthood protest by chanting the words "yeast infections".' she wrote.
Many Twitter users were quick to praise Mary for her actions, with Tori Timms tweeting: 'Hearing that @MaryNumair broke up a #PlannedParenthood protest by shouting about yeast infections is best thing that happened to me today.'
And one person going by 'BracketMarch' on Twitter added: '@MaryNumair I hope you are not a bot and this is real. If so, you are amazing. [sic]'
'@BracketMarch It was very real! I hope this chant spreads. Side note: no one there wanted a selfie with me [sic],' she replied, while sharing an image of one of the female protesters walking away from her.
Mary, who also shared a photo from the moment when all of the protesters left the Planned Parenthood location, told Slate that she definitely plans on having similar protests in the future.
